You’ll find a wonderful variety of day trips and short liveaboard trips from Phuket heading to the Similan Islands.
As well as Phi Phi and local dive sites such as Shark Point, Racha Noi Island and Koh Doc Mai. All kinds of marine life from seahorses to manta rays are out there. On this page you’ll find a quick introduction to all the local diving available here.
We have many day trip options in our program.
Day trips from Phuket to the Racha Islands and Phi Phi Islands plus King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point and Koh Doc Mai, are available year round. Similan Islands and Koh Bon day tours are available from mid-October to mid-May.
Pick up is about 7:15 – 7:30am and return at about 3:30 – 6:00pm. Transfers are included from/to hotels at Kata, Karon or Patong beach areas of Phuket.
Similan day trips include transfer from and to Khao Lak or Phuket as well.
Day Trips include breakfast, lunch, drinking water, many with soft drinks, fruits, weights, belts, scuba tanks and guided diving.
Most dive guides these days carry underwater cameras and are happy to sell photos for around 1,000 baht.

Similan Islands
The Similan Islands National Park has become well established as one of the finest dive locations in Asia, with liveaboard diving being especially popular. Many dive operators also offer Similans day trips departing from Khao Lak. Day trips are ideal for those who lack the time or money for a liveaboard cruise but still wish to experience the great diving on offer at the Similans. Note that Similan Islands daytrips are only available from end of October until end of April. All day trips depart by speedboat from Khao Lak, with transfer to a larger liveaboard diving boat which stays in the islands. Transfers are available from Phuket, taking up to 2 hours each way by minibus.

Racha Noi And Racha Yai Islands
We offer this day trip with 3 dives at the Racha Islands every day in the high season and pretty much every day in low season too! The Racha Islands are directly south of Phuket. This trip will normally include 2 dives at Racha Noi and 1 dive at Racha Yai. The boat takes about 2 hours to reach Racha Noi for the first dive allowing plenty of time for breakfast, preparing equipment, briefings and relaxation. The trip can accommodate all levels of diver. Beginners can dive in shallow areas while more experienced divers have deeper water to explore. Racha Noi has the best visibility of all dive sites in the area, averaging 25 meters. Marine life ranges from small reef fish to manta rays!

King Cruiser, Shark Point, Koh Doc Mai
This trip with 3 different dives at the King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point and Koh Doc Mai island runs every day in high season and most days in low season too! The King Cruiser was a large ferry boat, formerly a car ferry, which sank over 20 years ago between Phuket and Phi Phi after hitting the top of Anemone Reef. This will normally be the first dive, with subsequent dives at Shark Point, a submerged pinnacle of soft corals and Koh Doc Mai, a limestone island that juts up steeply from the water. Sometimes, due to strong currents, the first dive may be at Koh Doc Mai rather than the wreck.
The day trip boat will take about 1 3/4 hours to reach the King Cruiser allowing ample of time for some breakfast, equipment preparation, dive briefings and to catch some rays of sun. This trip is for Advanced Open Water divers or Open Water divers with a fair amount of experience and we also use this trip as part of our Advanced Open Water course.
The 3 dives are very different, with a wreck, pinnacle and the steep walls of Koh Doc Mai. The wreck is covered in marine life sheltering from currents, the depth is from 15 – 31m. Shark Point is no deeper than 24m, a good chance of leopard sharks, and always a lot of fish action. Koh Doc Mai, if dived 3rd, is good for an 18m dive. The walls are covered in soft corals and gorgonians, look for things like ghost pipefish, moray eels and seahorses.

Phi Phi Islands / Shark Point / Anemone Reef / Koh Doc Mai
Phi Phi Island day trips are available from Phuket at the Phi Phi Islands.
Daily – 2 dives at Phi Phi plus 1 dive at Shark Point or Anemone Reef.
Wednesday and Saturday – 1 dive at Phi Phi, 1 dive at Shark Point and 1 dive at Koh Doc Mai.
The Phi Phi Islands are about 40km east of Phuket. Normally we are diving at Koh Bida Nok or/and Koh Bida Nai which are right in the south of the Phi Phi Islands, as well as Palong Wall located at Phi Phi Le Island. The dive sites of Shark Point, Anemone Reef and Koh Doc Mai are in between Phi Phi and Phuket.
The day trip boat will take about 2 1/2 hours to reach Phi Phi so you will have plenty of time for breakfast, preparing equipment, briefings and relaxation before diving. Diving at Phi Phi is suitable for all levels of diver. Beginners can dive in shallow areas while more experienced divers have deeper water to explore. There’s really nothing too deep here, the absolute bottom is 28 – 30 meters with nice soft corals in the shallower areas too.
Phi Phi is probably the best local dive site to have a chance of shark sightings. There are often leopard sharks and black tip reef sharks. Turtles are sometimes seen too, and the variety of soft and hard corals makes for very nice diving, and the topside scenery around Phi Phi is quite impressive too!
